Exploring New Tools for Learning, Collaboration and Positive Impact

Many of the ideas explored through our Living Labs evolve into practical tools, methodologies, programmes and digital solutions.
Innovation is rarely a straight line. Some initiatives begin as early concepts, others develop into prototypes, and some progress to pilot projects and beta testing in real-world environments.
To help visitors understand where each initiative is in its development journey, we use the following stages:
Concept
An idea that is being explored and shaped through research, conversations and community feedback.
Prototype
An early working version that allows key ideas, assumptions and functionalities to be tested.
Beta
A solution that can already be used by a limited group of participants while improvements continue to be made based on real-world feedback.
Active
A mature initiative, tool or programme that is actively operating and available for broader participation.
Our supporters, contributors and collaborators play an important role in helping ideas move through these stages by providing feedback, testing, expertise and real-world experience.
LEO
Exploring How Emotional Awareness Influences the Reality We Create
LEO (Life Energy Optimizer) is an experimental AI-powered app designed to help people better understand the relationship between emotions, experiences, beliefs and the reality they create.
The app explores how emotional awareness influences decision-making, behaviour, perception and ultimately the experiences that shape our lives.
Rather than focusing solely on productivity or goal achievement, LEO investigates how emotional patterns, energy states, beliefs and daily choices influence wellbeing, relationships, performance and life outcomes.
Developed within the framework of the My Experience Learning Cycle, LEO combines reflection, experiential learning and AI-supported feedback to help users recognise patterns, make more conscious choices and navigate life with greater clarity and intention.
By analysing experiences over time, LEO seeks to uncover how seemingly small daily choices contribute to larger life trajectories and how greater emotional awareness can support more aligned and meaningful outcomes.
Current Status: Prototype
A Life Energy Optimizer exploring how technology can support personal reflection, learning and life navigation.

Community & Event App
Strengthening Connection Before, During and Beyond Events
The Community & Event App is an experimental platform designed to help participants connect, collaborate and stay engaged before, during and after events, Living Labs and community initiatives.
Many meaningful connections are made during events, but often disappear once the event ends. The Community & Event App explores how technology can help transform temporary encounters into ongoing relationships, collaborations and community participation.
The app supports communication, event participation, project collaboration and community engagement, helping participants remain connected long after an event has finished.
Developed through real-world experimentation at events such as the Gran Canaria Nomad Fest, the app continues to evolve through user feedback, testing and co-creation.
Beyond event management, the long-term vision is to create a digital environment that supports communities, Living Labs and collaborative projects throughout their entire development journey.
Current Status: Beta

The Community & Event App is already being used and tested in real-world environments. By supporting its development, you help improve existing features and accelerate the creation of new tools that strengthen community building, participation and collaboration.
Looking for a Community App for Your Event?
As part of our beta programme, selected organisers can access customised versions of the Community & Event App for conferences, festivals, workshops, Living Labs and collaborative initiatives.
This allows organisers to test new features while helping us improve the platform through real-world experimentation.
GADI
Digital Tools for Regenerative Farm Management
GADI (Gestión Agrícola Digital Integrada) is an experimental farm management app designed to support ecological farms, regenerative agriculture projects and permaculture-inspired initiatives.
Many small and medium-sized farms still rely on paper records, spreadsheets and fragmented communication systems. GADI explores how digital tools can simplify daily farm operations while supporting traceability, compliance, team coordination and long-term sustainability.
The app combines work schedules, task management, operational procedures, digital farm records and team coordination within a single environment. By bringing these functions together, GADI helps farmers, managers, employees and volunteers work more efficiently while maintaining clear documentation and accountability.
Developed and tested through real-world implementation at Eco-Finca Las Cuevas del Cibo in Gran Canaria, GADI has already demonstrated its ability to support task planning, workforce management, farm records and operational oversight in an active agricultural environment.
Beyond day-to-day farm management, GADI explores how ecological farms can evolve into Living Labs where production, education, innovation, community participation and rural regeneration come together.
The long-term vision is to create an integrated digital ecosystem that supports regenerative agriculture, farm traceability, knowledge sharing and collaborative rural development.
