For us this seems to be the most difficult choices to make in ecological farming. When to interfere in the ecosystem or not. Some say that we have to control it, otherwise a plague can wipe out the whole system. Others say that you have to leave it to nature and that it will automatically finds it’s own balance. So what to do? In our herb garden we seeded two medical herbs besides eachother. Canarian tea and Luisa herb. It seems that the roots of the Canarian tea are invading the territory of the Luisa herb, which slowly starts to dissapear. So if we want to save the existance of the Luisa herb we should interfere and take away the invading roots of the Canarian tea.
