Rain by Night, Sun by Day: Nature’s Energy Duo for Transformation

Weather conditions this week

🌧️ Rain: Night Showers
☀️ Sun: Bright Days
🌡️ Temperature: 16°C (Night) / 22°C (Day)
🌕 Moon: Full Moon Phase – Rest for the Soil

This week in our series, “From Soil to Table: The Path to a Healthy Meal,” nature is offering a balanced rhythm of 🌧️ rain during the nights and ☀️ warm, sunny days. With temperatures ranging from a cool 16°C at night to a comfortable 22°C during the day, the conditions are refreshingly calm. However, under the 🌕 full moon, it’s a time for celebration rather than work in agriculture, reminding us of the importance of gratitude and honoring the natural forces that sustain every cycle of growth.

A perfect week to reflect and prepare for the next stages of growth and renewal while we celebrate nature’s perfect energy duo: rain and sunlight. Following an extended period of drought, the long-awaited rain nurtures the earth, while the sun’s warm rays during the day provide the energy needed for growth. It’s a harmonious cycle that reminds us of the delicate balance required to produce healthy, vibrant crops.

This Week on the Farm

The recent rain and sunshine have energized all the plants—including the unwanted weeds. Our next task is to clean the planting boxes and remove any excessive growth. Tackling these weeds early minimizes the energy required and prevents them from competing with our vegetable plants for essential resources like nutrients and water. By removing the weeds, roots and all, we ensure they don’t grow back while allowing them to decompose on the soil, enriching it naturally. For the vegetable plants, we focus on trimming away parts that aren’t vital for growth, ensuring the plant’s energy goes into producing the food we’ll harvest and enjoy.

Stay tuned as we continue this journey together, discovering how mindful, sustainable practices and natural resilience shape the healthy food we ultimately enjoy on our plates.
